काठमाडौँ । निर्वाचन आयोग, नेपालले आगामी प्रतिनिधि सभा सदस्यको निर्वाचनमा सहभागी हुन इच्छुक नागरिकहरूलाई मतदाता नामावलीमा नाम दर्ता गर्न आग्रह गरेको छ।
आयोगका अनुसार मिति २०८२ साल फागुन २० गतेसम्म १८ वर्ष उमेर पूरा हुने नेपाली नागरिकहरूलाई पात्र मतदाता मानिने भएकाले उनीहरूले अनिवार्य रूपमा सो मितिभन्दा अघि आफ्नो नाम दर्ता गराउन अपिल गरिएको छ।
नाम दर्ता स्थलहरूमा देखिएको सेवाग्राहीको अत्यधिक चापलाई व्यवस्थापन गर्न आयोगले विशेष व्यवस्था गरेको छ। दैनिक ८०० भन्दा बढी नाम दर्ता भइरहेको जिल्लाहरूमा दुई सिफ्टमा (६/६ घण्टा) गरी दैनिक १२ घण्टा सेवा सञ्चालन गरिने आयोगले जनाएको छ।
यसका लागि काठमाडौं उपत्यकाभित्रका तीन जिल्लामा राष्ट्रिय परिचयपत्र तथा पञ्जीकरण विभागबाट थप १४ जना दर्ता कर्मचारी खटाइनेछ भने अन्य जिल्लामा सेवाग्राहीको चापका आधारमा प्रमुख जिल्ला अधिकारीमार्फत थप जनशक्ति खटाउने व्यवस्था गृह मन्त्रालयसँग समन्वय गरी मिलाइएको आयोगले जनाएको छ।
आयोगका सहसचिव एवम् प्रवक्ता नारायण प्रसाद भट्टराईका अनुसार आयोगले सबै पात्र नागरिकलाई समयमा नाम दर्ता गराई आगामी निर्वाचनमा आफ्नो मतदान अधिकार सुनिश्चित गर्न आग्रह गरेको छ ।
